Polysarcosine is a polypeptoid made of the endogenous sarcosine amino acid (N-methylated glycine). It has PEG-like physicochemical properties such as water solubility and no reported cytotoxicity and immunogenicity. Lately, it is considered as a potential alternative to PEG in many bioapplications.
This particular polysarcosine has a non-reactive alkylamide function on the C-terminal and a non-reactive acetyl function on the N-terminal.
Our polyamino acid has been purified by dialysis, sterile-filtered on 0.2um, lyophilized, and stored under Ar.
Storage Conditions:
Store polysarcosine-N-acetamide under the condition of flushing with argon and protecting from light, and below -15°C.
