Poly(L-aspartic acid)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-aspartic acid) sodium salt

Poly(L-aspartic acid)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-aspartic acid) sodium salt Structure

Poly(L-aspartic acid)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-aspartic acid) sodium salt is a A-B-A type hydrophilic block copolymer that has a poly(L-aspartic acid sodium salt) section on both sides of a non-reactive PEG section. It is a crystalline solid soluble in water. Upon derivatization of the poly(L-aspartic acid sodium salt) parts, it can self-assemble into particles in aqueous solution with a hydrophobic poly(L-aspartic acid) core and a hydrophilic PEG shell. Applications for poly(L-aspartic acid)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-aspartic acid) sodium salt include the conjugation to active molecules for improved activities and the layer-by-layer deposition techniques.

Our poly(L-aspartic acid)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-aspartic acid) sodium salt has been purified by dialysis, sterile-filtered on 0.2um, lyophilized, and stored under Ar.

Storage Conditions:

Store poly(L-aspartic acid)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-aspartic acid) sodium salt under the condition of flushing with argon and protecting from light, and below -15°C.
