S-Trityl-poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(L-lysine trifluoroacetate) is a
linear hydrophilic block copolymer which has a poly(L-lysine
trifluoroacetate) section and a trityl protected thiol functionalized PEG section. It is a
crystalline solid soluble in water. Upon derivatization of the
poly(L-lysine trifluoroacetate) part, it can self-assemble into particles
in aqueous solution with a hydrophobic poly(L-lysine) core and a
hydrophilic PEG shell. Applications for S-trityl-poly(ethylene

Product Description:

These standard gold nanoparticles or colloidal gold are produced using the Turkevich method. The citrate stabilizer can easily be exchanged with ligands having a higher affinity for gold, which makes it possible to functionalize the nanoparticles.

Each batch of gold nanoparticles is characterized using techniques including dynamic light scattering (DLS) and UV-Visible spectroscopy.
